Hi.

I'm sorry about problems with our software. I need some additional information for analysis.
Please download and run LoadOrder application: http://download.sysinternals.com/Files/LoadOrder.zip
Copy-paste driver load order information and send it to our Support Team: support@jetico.com

The AVG people say they cannot reproduce the problem, so I am at a loss as to what is going on here.  It would help if someone could tell us what kinds of "changes" causes this message.

See my thread over at the AVG forums

Ok so it appears that finally someone understood the reason of this bad problem...
now we should wait for the next AVG update or what?
What is strange is that once in a while i can open the pc without have to re-start it...
but i still didn't got why...this is a real annoying problem...no doubt about it... :(

Strange message.
Which application gives you this message?

I had also recently gotten that pop-up box.  For me, it had occurred after my AVG-Free antivirus updated itself to 8.5.339 on May 19 or so.  I would get that pop up about once a day.  It had since gone away after I rolled back to an older version of AVG (8.5.238) using the system-restore point created immediately before the update.

What exactly is JPF detecting as having changed with that pop up?  I don't see any of my actual network drivers having changed (via looking at the control panel).

For completeness - I'm on XP-SP2, Jetico 1.0.1.61 / 1.0.1.86.
Windows firewall, etc all turned off.  Only other AV product running is AVG-Free

Wait! I just realized that we both use Avg and Spyboth...so probably this problem is originated by one of these two...try to do this...
when you will open your pc...take down Spyboth search and destroy...then tell me if something is changed!  :)

Guys i solved it...it's YM.  8)
Try to shut it down before the firewall will starts up...

Are you talking about Yahoo Messenger??

I don't have or use YM, I usually use IceChat IRC Client and Window Live Messenger but those application are not in my start up list. I have them set to manual start.

I guess I can try and set Jetico to manual and see if that works, although by canceling the reboot Jetico will not start up adn when you try and run the firewall the message pops up again.

So I was looking at this thread IMPORTANT: Please read before posting problems

And will add some info.

1. Jpf v1
Firewall server version 1.0.1.61
Firewall user interface version 1.0.1.86

2. Windows XP Professional Service Pack 3

3. Internet Connection: Satellite ISP modem and router

4. Admin account log-in

5. Other Security applications: AVG Free 8.5, Spybot Search & Destroy 1.6.2, Javacool Spywareblaster 4.2, Artifical Dynamics SafeSpace (Manual Start-up), HijackThis 2.0.2,

6. Security related applications which have been deinstalled/deactivated before Jetico install.
Just Windows firewall in Security center turned it off before installed Jetico

I've had Service Pack 3 install since it was first released and I haven't had problems with Jetico until now.

So is there any possible fix for this or solution to stop this annoying reboot??

I would really hate to have to switch to a different Firewall, because I like using Jetico

Thank you in advance for the help thus far.

I think it's related to SP3 and your SP4 OS :)
