Very strange, sincerely i don't have any explication why Jetico is doing this every time you boot. One time should be normal in case of Network changes.
Have you tried to do a clean reinstall of Jetico? It seams a driver/configuration problem. Make a backup of you Jetico configuration first.

P.S. I see you use XP SP3. There have been also posted some issues with Jetico v2 and SP3 a while ago. In Jetico v2 this bug was solved.
Seems that the same problem now appears with Jetico v1. I will inform Nail.

@Tommy: thanks for the reply. I actually haven't tried to do a clean install, but I will give it a try here in a few. But I do agree that a one time reboot should be all that is needed. Having to reboot every time is kind of annoying. But I will see if that clean install works.

I post an update as soon as I give it a try.

Update

edit: So I did a clean install of Jetico Personal Firewall and it still producing the pop-up window on system start up

Erhmmm..

1 pc with XP SP3
1 pc with W2K SP4

Today the W2K pc booted withiout problems of anykind.
Then suddenly BSOD concerning hardwaredrivers...

Rebooted and then Jetico popped up with the request for a reboot as networkdrivers has changed.

Mmmm.. 2 messages pointing at drivers and 1 of the messages pointing at networkdriver.
There isn't many updates left for W2K, just the usual monthly removal of harmful software update from MS.

My System & firewall version
Jpf v1
Firewall server version 1.0.1.61
Firewall user interface version 1.0.1.86

WinXP SP3

This error/popup window just started happening to me three days ago.

Did you folk's have done any software or Microsoft updates before this message appeared?

This could be a possibility but I would be sure since my Windows Updates are set to auto.
Anyways, I get this message every single time I boot up my computer which is everyday since I shut my computer down at night. So I basically have to restart my computer after just booting it up because clicking the cancel button then does execute/run the firewall. If you tried canceling the reboot and running the firewall from start-> all programs-> Jetico Personal Firewall you then get the same popup message again.

With this said, has anyone got this fixed because I don't see a solution??

I'm new, so may not know how this works, but this issue/thread appears to have not been resolved - just ended with a moderator's question.  Was this issue, which I'm also having for the first time afters years using Jetico, figured out?  In my case nothing was done on my computer except to start it, go online to a few known websites, and shut down.  On the next start the message in question popped up.

W2K SP4
"system network drivers configuration was changed"

Same problem here, now on 2 pc's in 2 different households.
Started earlier this week.
Until now jpf v1 needs to restart the pc 2 times to continue.

Any solutions?

System Network drivers Configuration was changed.
« Reply #1 on: July 17, 2008, 08:46:27 PM »
Hello, I have been using Jetico firewall v1, and recently I have been constantly getting the prompt box "System network drivers configuration was changed, please reboot", so of course I reboot, I have rebooted about 20times and I still get the same message , I am using ESET Nod32 Anti virus, I have also tried the firewall without any AV program, and nothing seems to work. I am on Windows Xp, on a Cable connection. I have also tried reinstalling several times and nothing seems to really work.

Thanks for your time,

Anim,
