BCTraveller compatibility with bestcrypt for linux
« Reply #2 on: November 25, 2008, 10:34:53 AM »
Hello,

I want to use bestcrypt for my usb stick, so I thought I could use bctraveller to create a container
and leave the bctraveller executable on the stick. However when I tried to mount the container from
my linux boot I got an error "Unknown algorithm Id: 0".

I saw that bctraveller uses Rijndael (AES) algorithm and the bc_rijn module is loaded in my linux so
I expected everything to work fine though it doesn't. Do I miss something here ? Is there a way to
use bctraveller and bestcrypt for linux to mount the same container?

thanks in advance
