Do as much as you can and post the results that you get.
I'll take a look and if i think we need to move this thread to the Hjt forum, i will..... we can then deal with anything bad there.

Thanks.

Howdy, and thanks for taking your time to help me out.

Ok, so First I'm running Windows Vista on a little Dell Inspiron 1501 laptop. Oh, and did I mention I know the basics of messing around with computers, but I know nothing of drivers and the tools you guys talk about. I read Murdoch's thread (hope you got it fixed) and I figured this was the best place to post for help.

And now down to the problem :director:. and ever since then I have gotten Ipod, free Wii (omg a free Wii NO WAY!) advertisements that play in the back ground without a window being up so I get the Idea that there is a program running in the background that I cant see or control. so if there is anyway to maybe get this taken out of the active programs that would be awesome.

I know this is probably the wrong place to post and I also know I'm infected but if I could be pointed in the right direction it would be much appreciated.

 Systemboy666

P.S. so sorry for kind of trailing off like that I reread my post and saw that I explained half the problem only.
If your able to help or if I'm stepping on feet here and using this forum the wrong way please tell me. and once again thanks for the time and help.
