I'm having the same problem with the newer TotalWipeout program. Won't boot on Toshiba Satellite or
Sony Vaio.

I am trying to detrmine what I might be doing wrong when using the supplied iso and creating a bootable cd with it.  Basically what I did was DL the iso and burned a bootable disc using magic iso.  When i reboot and select f12 then 3 for cd rom boot, it doesnt do anything.  My goal is to erase the hidden files that best crypt created which it seems no other program can delete. Is there an easier way or can anyone assist me in figuring out what I might be doing wrong with booting? Does the iso have to be extracted before being burnt?

windows xp
dell dimension 2400
best crypt v8
bcwipe v2
external wd 500g passport originally fat32 then formated to ntfs (bestcrypt files may still be hidden in fat32 somewhere)
please help the drive is only 2 months old, i dont care about the data i just want my drive back.

I've also noticed there was a recent update to bcwipepd v2.1 but when i download i can only download v2??????????????
