Thanks. Worked as stated. Note that you can't (obviously) use the -v switch (verbose) when logging otherwise the log file is huge and unreadable.

Hi, Dave.

BCWipe does not write logs to specific location.
It always reports errors to stderr stream.
If you want to get log file please enter something like this
bcwipe -l<other options here> <filename>  2>&1 | tee logfile.txt

Where is wipe log file created on Linux?

When I run on Linux, is there a log file created of the BCWipe run? Where would I find it? I need to log to "prove" that the wiping was run. I plan to do three separate runs. One for free space. One for slack space. And one for swap space.
