Hi muchomojo and welcome to Smokeys.

It's not a critical component, so running it is entirely up to you.
Leaving it will not effect your system.

Self diagnosis can be dangerous, if you want your log reviewed properly.... feel free to post it here and i'll take a look for you.

is 'ezShellstart.exe' a risk to my PC?

Hi folks,

So I had some problems with my PC. A friend checked my HJT log and suggested that the 'ezShellstart.exe' was something he didn't recognise. We have done a bit of searching, but can't find anything concrete on what it actually is. The only thing I have found is the easybit desktop stuff. Which seems legit. But, is this file a problem on my PC? Or is it something I need not worry about? Sorry, I am a complete idiot when it comes to stuff like this.

Thanks in advance
