Hello,

You can find answers on creating encrypted swap and home directory here:
http://www.jetico.com/linux/bcrypt-help/l_trick.htm

For ntfs non-English names, try supplying ntfs UTF8 option when mounting container:
bcmount -t ntfs /path/to/container /path/to/mount/point -o utf8

You can supply any options recognized by the file system container is formatted with this method. Try 'man mount.ntfs' for more ntfs-specific tips.

Regards,
Evgeny.

Full Ubuntu Encryption and some general questions
« Reply #1 on: October 06, 2009, 03:48:39 PM »
I wanna totally encrypt "/home", system's volume and SWAP. So, that no information from my Ubuntu could be found. But i don't know how to make it. i saw in "man bctool" that it is possible to create container inside container, and then no one can't prove what kind of info i had there. If possible - i'd like to use it in system's encryption.
If it is possible - help me please.

And one more question:
I created container with file-system NTFS and when i mount it - non-English names of folders and files don't wanna to be copied(shows "Invalid or incomplete multibyte or wide character"). Where is my mistake? With ext3 file-system no troubles.
I create it by typing:
bctool new /home/andrew/docs.jbc -s 20M -a blowfish-448 -t ntfs -v
and mount:
bctool mount /home/andrew/docs.jbc /home/andrew/123/

Best Regards,
Andrew
