Regarding the BSOD - we have prepared a version of driver that may resolve the problem.
Could you please contact us at support@jetico.com?
We will send you the driver ans ask you to make the experiment.

I've also found another bug, even when "hide drive letters for not mounted volumes" is enabled Windows will still assign a drive letter for it when the volume is plugged and not mounted,and a prompt asking to format it opens. I tested this on two computer and in both the same happens. Both are running Windows 7 x64.

I was already using the last version of BCVE(I don't have BC).
I did as you instructed, although the dump size on Windows 7 is 256kb. Anyway after setting it up I made the computer show the BSOD 3 times and in none the dump was saved, I have no idea why. I already set in the folder options to show hidden and system files. Also I searched for dmp on Windows folder(I put it to be saved there) and nothing related to this dump was found. Then I tried searching for dmp on the entire HDD, same happened.

Please accept our apologies for the problem.
Firstly, could you please download and install the latest version of BestCrypt (v8.20.3, BCVE - v2.14.01)?

Secondly, if the crash happens with the current version - please send us the minidump file containing the information about the crash.
To do so, please follow these steps:

-open System Properties window (by right-clicking on My Computer and running
'Properties');
- go to 'Advanced System Settings'  and  click 'Settings' button in 'Startup
and Recovery' area;
- in the appeared window,  in 'Write debugging information' area please select "Small memory dump
(64 kb)"
(The second edit box in this area contains full path where the dump file is
stored.)

If generation of the dump has been already set, just send us this 64kb file.
If it has not been set, please do it now.
When next crash happens, please send us the minidump file .

BSOD when ejecting SD Card on integrated card reader
« Reply #1 on: January 11, 2010, 05:30:02 PM »
I'm getting a BSOD every time I use the eject from "safely remove hardware and eject media" icon from Windows 7 x64 on my laptop, it's not happening only sometimes, EVERY single time I do it, I get the BSOD. BestCrypt is not detecting the card as a drive, it doesn't list it on the drive list, although Windows have already assigned a drive letter for it. If I use the card with an USB reader it ejects without any errors and BestCrypt can detect it. If it matters, I'm using an Asus G51vx-rx05. Here a picture of the blue screen
