Further to my previous message, I can confirm that BestCrypt installs and starts fine using the i386 version of Fedora 7 on the same hardware.  The error in my initial post was for the x86_64 version of Fedora 7.

Hope this helps identify and resolve the problem.

Regards,
Damo.

BestCrypt not working on Fedora 7

I am attempting to install BestCrypt Linux version 1.6-13 onto Fedora 7.  The source rpm compiles fine with the command: "rpmbuild --rebuild" and installs, but during startup of the bcrypt service, the following entries are observed in the /var/log/messages file:

Is it possible for a new release to address these compatilibity issues with fedora 7?

Many thanks.

Damo.
