The topic title should read "Any plans for CUDA accelerated encryption", only I can't find a way to change it so.

Any plans for CUDA accelerated encryption?

Perhaps this one may be even more promising than Intel AES NI because of
- already huge user base (NV cards)
- very good paralleling and big speedup (depending of cores number)
- flexible, can be used for any algorithm, not only AES
- slow algorithms, like Serpent, and cascades (if needed) will take great advantage
- proved technology, used for accelerated password crack/recovery

You can read some info on AES&CUDA on this paper (not new but anyway) - http://www.manavski.com/downloads/PID505889.pdf. CUDA and OpenCL also mentioned on PGP blog http://blog.pgp.com/index.php/tag/cuda/

Latest version of CoreAVC decoder - excellent example of CUDA hardware acceleration
