Unfortunately, for now you will need to decrypt your System / Boot volumes to upgrade. We are working on developing a workaround to allow upgrading without decrypting in the future.

Hi, I'm currently running the latest stable Windows 10 Enterprise (1703 Creators Update). But I've decided to opt into Insider Preview builds. My C drive is currently encrypted with BCVE. I'm wondering whether I need to decrypt prior to upgrading to the IP build. Or will the upgrade go seamlessly without issues even if the encryption remains as-is?
